Soles 2 Souls

When a child arrives at school in ill-fitting or worn out shoes, it is difficult for him or her to concentrate on learning. Through our Soles2Souls program, United Way of Eastern Utah wants to remove this barrier to a successful school experience.

At our popular pop-up shoe shops held in Price, Blanding and Uintah County, school-age students receive a free pair of shoes to start their new school year. In 2022, the United Way of Eastern Utah handed out more than 600 pairs of free shoes during two one-day events.

Beyond the one-day pop-up events, the United Way of Eastern Utah provides new shoes for students at the request of a school teacher, counselor or administrator.
